Backdrop Hire and Inspiration

The new revolution is here and with weddings getting to be in funky venues with unique styling some people aren’t always following the usual wedding traditions, be it a sit down meal, speeches, a first dance… some want informal, fun, unique and just to be married with a party! Don’t get me wrong I LOVE all weddings, the romance, the individual personalisation of any wedding blows my mind every time we do a set up. Ollie and I have brought out a new range of modern backdrops including our new foliage backdrop. Moving on from the traditional starlit backdrops you used to see – you can find all our other items for hire under backdrops and Frames/Neon

Our props are made to suit everyone’s taste and ‘theme’ be it an empty warehouse or barn that needs uplifting with light and life or a Stately home which doesn’t need much but a few personal touches. We’ve had a lot of enquiries for the foliage wall backdrop for weddings, events and Baby Showers! So below are a few tips and inspiration for you. You can decorate and add whatever you like to it, nothing is beyond your reach so tell me your vision and I’ll help you to bring it to life!

Where to place the foliage backdrop for a wedding.

You love the look of it but want to know where it can go! Below is some help!

Behind the Top Table

You can place any of our backdrops behind the top table, add a laser cut sign saying ‘THE NEW MR&MRS SMITH’ or ‘JUST MARRIED’ any marquee or Tipi wedding would look incredible with a foliage backdrop behind the top table!

Top of the Aisle

Stand to attention at the top of the aisle as you walk down and stand in front of the wall to be married infront of it, hang our Neon ‘Happily Ever After’ Perspex sign on it so the photographer can capture the moment! A perfect venue example could be Owen House wedding Barn, the natural green foliage amongst the wooden ceremony room, or a blank canvas like 54 Studios in Manchester or even to add more greenery to the Green Jungle that is Sefton Palm House in Liverpool!!

Venues like Heaton House and Styal Lodge are are perfect example for using an entrance for a usable space- at Heaton House use the entrance barn for the foliage backdrop to be used as a ‘selfie station’ add some props and you’re good to go! At Styal Lodge the entrance ‘to the right of the entrance to the toilets’ is a great place to have a backdrop for a photo opportunity!

Added Extras – Laser Signs

Its my new favourite thing! Now you can have anything laser cut whether it’s a song lyric, something sentimental you say to each other or rude and outrageous you would love to see written! We can do it all, any size, any colour! The most cost effective is Ply wood that we spray, it can lasered to by tiny up to a massive 8ft x 4ft moon which we did for a recent photoshoot! Yep! You can actually hire a moon backdrop! #Comeflywithme.

Add this to our green foliage along with a flower garland, bunches of white and pink coloured flowers for a romantic look

Or add our pink neon 4 ft heart or our Happily Ever After Neon Sign- we set this up just for the evening at Colshaw Hall!
