Q: Where are you based? 

A:  Our main office and Workshop/ warehouse is located in Altrincham, South Manchester. We’re ideally situated to deliver throughout the North West of England. We also have a base in Leeds, Hannah will handle enquiries for the North East, Sheffield and Yorkshire areas.

Q: Where will you deliver?

A: We deliver all over the North West, from Manchester & Liverpool to the Lake District and North Wales, generally up to an hour and a half away from Altrincham. We sometimes make special exceptions depending on the date and props required so please get in touch and ask nicely :)

Q: Can we Collect?

A: YES! We allow one collection per weekend and only for LOVE or INITIALS as these fit easily in the back of a car with the seats folded down- no need for a Van. We require a bigger deposit of £100.00 plus we take a copy of your credit card should you not deliver back to us at the specified time/date this will be charged.

Q: How much is the deposit?

A: £50.00 for a single set hire- once you have paid your deposit this SAVES YOUR DATE. You can add anything to hire at any time without paying any more deposit. We take a 50% deposit for custom Neons and £100 deposit with a collection or we may take a higher deposit depending on how many letters are hired.

Q: When is the full amount due?

A: 1 Month before your event, you are of course able to pay the full amount all at once, or at any time leading up to your wedding, but the full amount must be paid a month before. We send a reminder email on this date.

Q: Do you have Public Liability Insurance and are props PAT Tested?

A: YES! We send this automatically once you have paid your full amount, if you need this earlier we can email you please just ask.




Q: When do you set up & collect?

A: We work with you on this one. You specify on your booking form when you would like us to deliver. If you are setting up the day before we can set up at the same time, alternately first thing in the morning is generally the most popular time. 

If you are having your new surname in lights this can be set up after your ceremony.

We collect either the same evening after the event has finished up to 2am or first thing the next morning. We phone your venue the week leading up to your event to confirm this.

Q: What letters do you have?

A: We have EVERYTHING you need, (well almost!) we have multiples of the alphabet and multiple 4 ft LOVE letters, we have 1 of the following Special items- 6 ft LOVE, Floral LOVE, NEON LOVE and all accessories are one off’s. We can supply any word you like- be imaginative. As we have a many letters WE WILL NEVER CANCEL ON YOU if something was to happen to one of the letters from a previous hire- we have many more in stock or we can make another.

Q: How tall are your letters?

A: All our letters are 4 foot tall, most are 2 foot wide, with the exception of the W, M etc which are at most 2.5 foot. We have one set of 6 foot LOVE 

Q: Do you have a choice in bulbs as I have seen different colours?

A: YES! We have our beautiful golf ball clear round bulbs, these are 15 watt each and give a bright romantic gold glow. Our other option is the carnival/sparkle/fairground bulb caps, these give off a subtle glow and are 3 watts each, you have the option to change the colours to match your theme:





But if you needed any other colour we could source these for you.

Q: Why hire from you?

We are the Original Light up letter company, We made the Large letter industry happen!
We make all our letters ourselves, we refine them; make sure they are as good as the day they were born (created) every time they are hired. We touch them up, re paint, sand, change bulbs everything you would expect when hiring the finest Light up letters in the North West!


We are dedicated to this job, its full time for us so you will get a response to your enquiry the same day (Minutes, or at least 24 hours). We work with you, we don’t just deliver the letters in the morning and collect the following morning as this doesn’t suit everyone, we deliver and set up when is convenient for YOU, weddings and events can be stressful towards the end and making sure everything is in its place- and we understand this.



As we make all our own props we can make to order if you have a special requirement, let us know your thoughts and what you would like and we can make this for you. We don’t buy our props from other people so we know what you are getting is the best and consistent!
